Build your squad

Bring your people. We’ll bring the pitch.

Teammates do not need to belong to the same church, school, or organization. Choose a captain, assemble your squad, and prepare together.

  1. 1

    Choose a captain

One person registers the team, accepts the rules, and serves as the main contact.

  2. 2

    Build a 2–11 player roster

The limit is the total active roster, including the captain. Create an appropriate team name and invite everyone who will compete.

  3. 3

    Practice your positions

Players may cover more than one field position, so even a small roster can cover every required position.

  4. 4

    Lock in the roster

The organizer will publish the roster-lock deadline, followed by check-in and technical checks.

Fair play, clear results

Skill decides the winners.

Bushfire runs the rooms, scoring, standings, and disputes. Sponsors do not write questions, choose winners, or influence results.

  • Every required field position must be covered; individual players may cover multiple positions.
  • When multiple players cover the active position, the first submitted answer locks in the team response.
  • Only registered teammates may collaborate during play.
  • Web search, AI tools, outside helpers, and answer-sharing between teams are prohibited.
  • Published standings tie-breakers determine who advances from each group.

Group tie-breaker order

Series wins → head-to-head → game differential → goal differential → playoff game
